Apple Pancakes Or Waffles - Put a tropical, fruity spin on this quick, easy and traditional breakfast food recipe! Sweet, tart apple and rich, fragrant cinnamon, a tried and true favorite medley, really jazz up this healthy, hearty meal! Make a double batch, and freeze the waffles for the rest of the week, for a “quick fix” breakfast or snack anytime!

Ingredients to make Apple Pancakes Or Waffles
1 1/4 c flour
1/4 c wheat germ
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 Tbs sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c buttermilk
1/4 c oil
1 c coarsely grated tart apple
Directions to make Apple Pancakes Or Waffles
Step 1:Stir together all dry ingredients. Mix eggs, buttermilk, and oil; add to dry ingredients and mix gently. Fold in grated apple. Cook on lightly oiled griddle.
Step 2:For waffles, double ingredients and freeze any leftover waffles; reheat on low setting in toaster.
